Join NMN and guests on Thursday, December 5th from 7-9pm for ‘Showing up together: a panel and community gathering on queer activism and building solidarity between communities’.

This will be a space to hear from a variety of speakers about their approaches to queer activism, to highlight the importance of solidarity between communities, and most importantly to learn from and share with one another!

This free, public event will be held at Javaroma on Franklin, and light refreshments will be served. Featured speakers include Giiwedin, an Anishinaabe Two-Spirit water protector and educator; Yara Awad, an organizer with No Pride in Genocide DC, and Nick Smaldone, a master’s student with ties to the Blue Sky International Queer Film Festival in Mongolia.
